summer has me dreaming of the seaside, and all the colorful sea towns that hug the shores.

lately, my mind has been wandering to memories of one in particular…

brighton.

a tucked away sea village an our outside london, brighton was a center of 60’s mod culture and present day art, music and street style. from vintage shops to retro interiors, swanky cuisine to cozy cafes, this little city is filled with treasures to be found.

so if you’re wandering around londontown, hop the train for a weekend getaway to little olbrighton and see a few of my favorite spots.

i’ll see you at the beach!

{THE ROYAL PAVILION}

Experience the magical world of Brighton’s Royal Pavilion, home to three British monarchs. Decorated in the Chinese taste with an Indian exterior this Regency Palace is quite breathtaking.

The famous sea-side residence was built for King George IV, and was also used by his brother William IV and their niece Queen Victoria.

The Royal Pavilion grew over 35 years from a simple farmhouse to a spectacular palace. In 1787 Henry Holland extended the original farmhouse into a neo-classical building know as the ‘Marine Pavilion’.”

“These historic streets are a maze of antique jewellery shops, as well as being home to some of the old fishermen’s cottages.

Meeting House Lane’s sensual Pecksniff’s is a specialist fragrance house where you can have bespoke perfume made as well as lotions for men and women. “
