hi friends!
i’m back from la-la-land and the countdown to 2011 is officially underway….i’m still pondering what fancy outfit i’ll be dancing the night away in, but one thing i’m super excited about – what yummy champagne cocktails we’ll be shaking up at our our friends’ pre-new year’s fete!
based on my love of bellinis and tropical fruits, i discovered this sweet drink this morning and knew it had to be part of our little cocktail menu. bubbly + passionfruit + tangerine juice? yes, please!

a champagne cocktail
serves 4
12 oz of your favorite champagne
4 oz passion-fruit juice
8 oz mandarin juice
pour into a double-cocktail glass half-filled with broken ice, and serve.
cheers!
what about you, friends? what sparkly drinks do you hope to be sipping tomorrow evening?
here’s to a very very marvelous new year!
xo,

This sounds delicious! I’m a touch late for New Year’s but I suppose champagne is a year-round treat : ) Thank you for the recipe and have a happy 2011!

I love champagne (and dressing up)! Heading to a restaurant with my fiance, best friend and her bf. Should be a fun and yummy night!
