ebay adventures & dreamy shoes

new shoes.

they’re my instant cure for a bad day….my reward for a good day…and at the top of my shopping list every birthday, holiday….

….and wedding!

we all know the names – manolo, jimmy, louboutin, chloe, miu miu, loeffler randall, kate spade. these are my faves and i dream about them on a daily basis.
but for a girl with champagne tastes and a bargain budget, throwing down 5 benjamins for 1 pair of shoes isn’t in the cards.

but who needs barney’s when you have ebay???

i’ve professed my adoration for this awesome site before. and from stamps to sexy shoes, it’s always pulled through.

and after months of procrastination, it was time to begin the search for my wedding shoes.

and as much as i love a pair of stiletto sandals,  our little beach ceremony will make walking down the sandy aisle an impossible feat. so, i had to dash my dreams of wearing these sparkly kate spade carly sequin sandals.
SAD FACE.

some friends suggested i walk barefoot but i’m too terrified of stepping on a twig or broken shell or pebble or whatever and jerking awkwardly down the aisle.

so what was left?

sandals. but they had to feel festive…maybe with a little shine and not so bridal-y that i couldn’t wear them again. there was such thing as a flat dressy sandal…right?

Oh. Yes.

and i found them. on ebay. for 75% off the original price.

oh, and they’re ROSE GOLD – my favorite metal.

i bought them!!!

their official name is the flynn ruffle sandal by loeffler randall.  the tiny wedge heel, the ruffle, the snakeskin and the rose gold make it girly and practical and fierce all at the same time….even if i’m the only one that’ll see them. 🙂
now it’s your turn, my fellow shoe-loving friends! what shoes are your dreaming about this season?

Great choice, very simple and totally adorable! Ebay recently made my shoe dreams come true too, where I found the dreamiest interpretation of the Burberry Prorsum Shearling booties, with a much more sensible heel 😀 SO excited! Congrats on how everything’s coming together 🙂

They are sooo soo pretty! I’m always dreaming of Louboutins. Always always. My dream wedding shoes are the “Something Blue” Manolos from SATC, though.

GASP-they’re prefect! I love a good eBay find, and when it comes to seriously high end shoes, it’s hard to squeeze another $5 or $600 out of your budget!
