j’ne sais quoi

Style is the perfection of a point of view
Richard Eberhart

while trends come and go each season, one’s personal style remains.

today i’d like to celebrate a lovely & amazing girl with a certain j’ne sais quoi i adore.

miss dree hemingway.

the ballerina-turned-model and, yes, great-granddaughter of that legendary writer, caught my eye a few years back when she starred in halston’s dreamy fall 2009 campaign film (see below). since then, i have fallen more and more in love with her careless left bank bohemian spirit. vintage blouses, airy scarves, rough & tumble utility jackets, chic blazers, classic shades. oh, and killer shoes.

here’s to thee, miss dree.

xo,

Isn’t she stunning? My best friend from Los Angeles grew up with Dree and says she’s a total doll. One things for certain—her style is so hopelessly cool.

What an incredible life: dancer, model, great-granddaughter to an amazing writer…yeah not bad.
