LAST MINUTE GIFT GUIDE FOR TODDLERS

sylvie in the sky // last minute holiday gift guide for toddlers // neon advent calendar // oh happy day

When it comes to the holidays and gift shopping, put me in the “Last Minute” bucket. A career in fashion and retail means this working mama hits high gear in November and December and online shopping is the last thing I want to do at the end of a long, zany day. I try and pick up gifts here and there as I see them, but the bulk of our gifts get picked and packaged the weekend of Christmas.

But Last Minute Gifts can be just as awesome as Early Bird Gifts. This holiday, I’ve rounded up my favorite unisex gifts for our littles that you can still order and have delivered before Christmas. Spectacular stories, groovy play tentsbrain bending puzzles, and a supremely cool doll house – shop the Last Minute Gift Guide for Toddlers for your little ones this holiday.

LAST MINUTE GIFT GUIDE FOR TODDLERS

This is San Francisco + This Moose Belongs to Me

2 fantastic books on heavy rotation for our 2 1/2 year old’s bedtime. Miroslav Sasek offers “This is…” books for every major city around the world. And every child deserves to have Marcel the Moose in their lives.

VW Camper Play Tent

I’ve dreamt of a real life VW Camper of my own but the cost and upkeep isn’t in the cards for us. So we can live our VW dreams with this AWESOME play tent for T. Teepee what?

Jumbo Ocean Animals

T lives for his imaginary ocean adventures (thank you, The Little Mermaid) and these jumbo ocean animal toys are the perfect cast. T’s school has giant baskets full of the ocean, safari, farm, zoo, and household animal toys and the kids go wild for them.

Dancing Wooden Alligator

T’s dancing alligator lived on his bookshelf for 2 years before he discovered its awesomeness. Now, this toy strings along with T wherever he roams.

All Seasons Unisex Doll House

Who says doll houses were just for girls? T loves imagining new adventures with his toys and this wooden, gender neutral doll house is the perfect canvas for his next marvelous story.

Build & Imagine Marine Kit

Following T’s marine fascination, Build & Imagine StoryWalls are magnetic building sets that spark storytelling. Build a scene with illustrated magnetic panels and use dolls and magnetic accessories (clothes, pets, props, and more) to create a story that brings the scene to life. Technically a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) toy, we have this one wrapped under the tree for T.

Mo Willems Busload of Pigeon Books

Mo Willems and his pigeon stories live up to the hype. Ridiculous and addicting, T can’t get enough and your littles will love this busload of pigeon adventures, too.

3 Wooden Puzzles in a Box

The 2’s & 3’s are the age of puzzle masters, and this fun wooden puzzle trio is a super treat for our peanuts. We’re gifting the truck boxed set for T but there’s a safari set for animal lovers, too.

Glow in the Dark Star Kit

Toddler bedtime can be…..never ending. Book after book, endless conversations, and the sheer will to keep the eyes open, keeping our kiddos in their beds, in the dark, can feel impossible. These glow in the dark stars get the oohs and ahhs that help our tiny humans drift off to dreamland.

I think glow-in-the-dark stars make a winning gift for toddlers. Anything glow in the dark, when you think about it. I was into them when I was younger.

I got some of the glow in the dark stars for my toddler too and she loves it! It’s a great way to make the room not so dark and foster their love of space.

I would love it if you came to link up at our party:

I think you have got the toddlers interests nailed to a T! I love the idea of a unisex dolls house its important to keep a gender balance and show that toys that are traditionally used by girls can be played with by boys and vice versa.

I just adore the the VW camper! I would have loved playing in there. Too bad my kids are too old for this, or I would be ordering one.

Great ideas! I had a couple of toddlers on my list this year and I had no idea what to get them! I ended up with some art supplies, and an Elsa dress for one.
