cough cough, sniffle sniffle…
oh friends, my apologies for the radio silence these past few days. i fell ill to the most wicked cold and have been bedridden all week…oof!
but to keep you entertained this warm and cozy weekend, i have the last few bits of our “love + wishes + thanks” guest blog series that i’ll be posting these next few days…
for today’s post, in honor of my favorite holiday of all time, i thought i’d share the things that help me shine this holiday with you, my favorite blog friends. from my love of winter coats, all that glitters, heavenly food to the bright and shiny inspiration i seek every day, here is what fills my heart with hope, bliss and magic this season.

love.

to wear my favorite toggle coat, wool cable tights and pom pom snow hat on those magical winter days.

to sip a mug of piping hot cider {with a splash of sazerac rye} to keep myself warm.

cinnamon anything, sparkly wrapping paper, flannel bedsheets, ice skating, peppermint & lots of wishing

wishes.

on the top of my wish list:
new adventures, a french laundry meal, a gingerbread house and a rag & bone euston coat.

what i am wishing for others:
more hugs & kisses, an extra cup of hot cocoa with lots of whipped cream, and hope….lots of it.

thanks.

my thanksgiving adventure:
rob, napoleon & i will venture north to my parent’s place for a glorious day of football & parades, turkey eating and dancing with the stars reruns {my parents are ballroom dancers!}
and in the evening, we’ll return home and host our own little gathering of favorite friends, velvety malbec wine, homemade everything and a tv marathon {this year: breaking bad}

what i am oh-so-thankful for:
 colorful dreams that i’m always chasing, a home that is safe, warm and full of love and the extraordinary people surrounding me {that’s including you, friends!} that always inspire me to be the best version of myself….i couldn’t ask for anything more.

from the very bottom of my very full heart, i want to thank all of you for being the most fantastic blog friends a girl could dream of. i adore you!
here’s to the warm and fuzzy holiday we all deserve.
happy happy thanksgiving, everyone!
xo,
s
