Sylvie in the Sky / Thanksgiving: Copper Kitchen / Holiday Style

Our turkey holiday is next week and I’m still shocked it’s November. Kidsgiving, Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving – it’s officially time to roll up my chef sleeves and crack open those cookbooks.

We’ve hosted a mini feast for friends and close family for the past 15 years. And since this tradition began during the age of small salaries and little apartments, our dinner stars a simple – but heavenly – menu. My trusty pots, pans, baking dishes, ramekins, and roaster will last until forever, but our kitchen and entertaining accents get jazzed up every holiday.

This year, copper kitchens and deep mahogany accents sit high on the love list. But since copper cookware leans on the high maintenance and pricey side, complimentary items – like mixing bowls (that are supposedly better for beating egg whites), serving trays, and snack bowls – are the easy chic way to add copper to our holiday homes.

Here are my latest loves for the perfect Thanksgiving Copper Kitchen – the classic baking bowls, a handsome serving tray,  snazzy server ware, the bible of cookbooks, a saucy chef apron, and sweet table decor for our favorite holiday.
