If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you have probably seen me sipping on a magical mug of dark green colored something. My magic green colored something is actually Chlorophyll water (made with Liquid Sunshine Chlorophyll + Mint drops by the awesome Sophie Jaffe and her wellness brand, Philisophie). Chlorophyll is a liposoluble pigment that is the reason algae is green and plants are green. We as humans ingest chlorophyll in the form of liquid by adding it to fresh water or purchasing chlorophyll water. There are major benefits of drinking chlorophyll water. Some benefits of this include cancer prevention and antioxidant properties. I personally enjoy adding a splash of flavor into my chlorophyll water like mint or lemon. For the best quality, I recommend looking into reputable chlorophyll brands that extract chlorophyll from alfalfa plants. 9 Health Benefits of Chlorophyll Water

Acts as an internal deodorant

If you struggle with bad breath, sweat, food, or menstrual odors, chlorophyll water may be the answer to your prayers. This has been proven to help mask bad odors and encourage nicer body scents.

Oxygenates the body

Eating chlorophyll rich foods and drinking chlorophyll water can help to encourage our bodies to build more oxygen-carrying red blood cells! Chlorophyll really helps to strengthen the blood-producing organs in our body while also providing our bodies with a good amount of oxygen.

Boost energy levels

A good solution to feeling down or low on energy is to consume chlorophyll! Chlorophyll water contains amazing ingredients like Vitamin A, Vitamin D, and Vitamin B12 that all help to boost our energy levels. Plants thrive off of chlorophyll and so does our energy.

Promotes beautiful and healthy skin

Chlorophyll has been proven to reduce inflammation and bacteria growth in wounds. A lot of people tend to use chlorophyll specifically for wound care and skin healing. I have found that my skin has cleared up immensely since I’ve been drinking this regularly.

Encourages weight loss

What’s super interesting about chlorophyll is that it’s been proven to encourage weight loss by reducing cravings of sweet and unhealthy foods. It also suppresses hungry feelings which help with our overall caloric intake.

Cleansing and detoxifying

Chlorophyll is amazing for allowing the liver to do its job by absorbing toxins that are in the body. If you’re looking for a good body detox, this is definitely a great place to start!

Fights against anti-aging

There are so many skincare products that help with anti-aging, but chlorophyll water helps internally. Drinking this helps to stimulate anti-aging enzymes to encourage healthy and clearer skin.

Blood building

Chlorophyll water also helps to restore and replenish red blood cells which help to maintain tissue in our bodies. Red blood cells are so important to build and maintain to help with transmission of oxygen to the body tissues in return for carbon dioxide.

Enhance overall well being

Finally, this helps to enhance our overall well being. Including improving health, boosting energy, and fighting against illnesses, chlorophyll water all around just makes you feel good inside and out. It helps to heal wounds, improve red blood cell count, and increase our body’s metabolism.
