    hi everyone!
all of this rain is making me think of all of the fresh powdery snow that is falling upon our mountains this week. i think a trip to the mountains is long overdue. cozy log cabins, reading by the fire, lots of hot chocolate….

we have some dear friends who live up there and i was thinking an apres ski party would be a fun way to end a day in the snow. fondue and winter drinks as we warm up by the fire sounds perfect!

here’s an entertaining article from apartment therapy on how to throw the best vintage apres ski party ever.
    cheers!

    Après Ski: 70s style

We have to admit — we don’t really like to ski, but we do love après ski! Hot chocolate? Fondue? Bring it on. Served in a 70s style orange pot? Even better.

This vintage round-up from the etsy blog, The Storque just made us smile. We had fondue parties before, but we’ve never tried to channel a 70s vibe quite in this way. There’s been some discussion of fondue parties over at The Kitchn. Have you ever hosted one?
