it’s been quite the whirlwind september for yours truly. with a long work trip to nyc, wedding planning fully underway and my favorite part – writing to all of you – filling my days and nights, i had just enough time to spend with my little family, eat and sleep.
but in late september, i received a great opportunity that was too good to pass up – to document the plans for our little beach day on a wedding blog some of you may have heard of. it’s a wonderful community of brides to be and is a safe place for me to channel some of my wedding energy!
many of my first posts will look vaguely familiar to you, as they were originally featured here πΒ but over time, i will be posting some wedding only bits just for the site. this will allow me to keep a balanced array of topics – music, food, travel, fashion and daily inspiration – to share with all of you here on silver lining, instead of bombarding all of you with zany wedding talk π
so for my silver lining readers who also have a penchant for weddings, you can find me and my diy bride musings here. and yes, there are personal photos. crazy!
and i will still be here, writing and sharing my favorite things to my favorite people in the world.
here’s to new opportunities!

Absolutely fantastic quote. Even more exciting about Wedding Bee-can’t wait to read all about the planning process!
I didn’t know you were getting married, how exciting! When is the big day?
Congrats, mama! What a fabulous opportunity! I will follow you both places of course, and can’t wait to see all of the wedding beauty coming our way…
ps – I love that quote.
