After a supremely awesome week, I like to celebrate with an equally supreme glass of wine. In the dog days of summer, crisp and cool rosé wines are my siren song. Light, fruity, perfect with food, and the loveliest pink hue, the rosé wine has a long history of being a much loved drink for the French and many other Europeans.
For those warm evenings or sizzling afternoons, these are my 5 best rosé wines that I tote along to dinner parties, gift to friends, or pop open just because. They’re budget friendly and sit pretty on any dinner table. I hope you treat yourself to a sip of one, too!

NV Codorníu Pinot Noir Brut Rosé ($15)
Strawberry and candied-cherry tones highlight this rosé sparkler.

Slightly effervescent, made from a blend of the white variety Hondarribi Zuri and the red Hondarribi Beltza, is a New York restaurant favorite.
