coloring books

“a multitude of books distracts the mind.”

my fellow bookworms, do you share my dreams of having a grand library to call your own? i’ve been happily getting lost in libraries and bookshops my whole life. they are my safe haven, my refuge from those not-so-good-days as i’m whisked away to a far off land full of magic and adventure 🙂
i nearly fell off my chair when i stumbled upon this technicolor library! i can’t stop thinking about it and have put it at the top of my home decor project list for this winter. the thought of color banking our books {we have sooooo many!} makes me proud to be a bookworm! and it also gives me an excuse to wander down the street to my favorite neighborhood bookshop to pick up some new reads for our humble little abode. 🙂
friends, what little projects are you dreaming up this season?

that library must be by far the loveliest library I’ve seen! And trust me, I have seen many! But it is jsut so beautiful, the color theme is great and the pug on the couch completes the picture!

  4. I love love love books. We have a family library but it is filled with lots of antique books, books who’s pages have turned yellow and is just soooo dusty. I want to update the family library, having something as colorful and as big as this is such a dream!

My plan so far has been to book-wrap them all in black paper.

This library is lovely!! Someday I want a room where three walls are covered in books and the fourth is all windows. A perfect library/reading room! I’ve had my books organized by they are arranged by subject!
