“for my part i know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.”
– vincent van gogh
i’m attempting to stay warm here in manhattan – surrounded in fall 2011 scarves, hats, tights, belts, socks and jewelry in the most marvelous  patterns, colors and metallics – but had to take a break to purchase this marvelous constellation calendar by san francisco’s very own prismatic print shop. and while i’d rather be wishing on a star on a magical night in central park, these stars will shine a little light for me on the craziest of work days {like today}.
love, love, love.
friends, what’s a recent purchase that you love oh-so-much? don’t be shy!

Lovely calendar, and the guest blog series was excellent, wonderful posts all around. Yes, the east coast is SO unfriendly this time of year, I’m only a half an hour car/bus/train ride from NYC, so I’m feeling those cold weather blues!

  11. How beautiful, and I think the inclusion of astrological signs is so charming! I’m sorry Manhattan is so chilly and you’re running around like a loon, but SF is rainy and pretty damn gross today!

I bought John a gorgeous J.Crew cable knit sweater for Christmas, and I’ve thought about unwrapping it so I can wear it at least 3 times so far this week!
