today my guy and his best buddies leave for their fourteen day south american adventure, the last big trip before
our first big day. napoleon {
our funny dog} and i will miss him terribly but are so excited for their awesome trip!
i’ve always been the jet setter throughout our relationship so it’ll be a little peculiar flying solo for so long, but between spring cleaning, wedding planning, 3 mile running, hip hop dance class-ing and girlfriend dinner dating, i think the time will zoom by.
and since it is a little tricky to cook for a party of 1, i’m going to use my fourteen days to embark on my own adventure, knocking off as many of the culinary gems on 7×7’s Big Eat SF list that came out in february. many of my all time favorite restos & dishes are on this list – salted caramel ice cream @ bi-rite creamery, pho ga @ turtle tower, morning bun @ tartine, kimchi soft tofu soup @ my tofu house & strawberry popovers @ the rotunda to name a few – but there are so many more heavenly foods to be had. or had again 🙂
bon appetit!
