“glamour” is assurance. it is a kind of knowing that you are all right in every way, mentally and physically and in appearance, and that, whatever the occasion or the situation, you are equal to it.”

it’s officially holiday season and the sparkly parties are just around the way!
this year, a few of my very dear girlfriends are oh-so-pregnant and were praying for an outfit or two that would make them feel just as glamorous as when they were sans enfant. is it possible? i had no idea.
after looking at these exquisite vogue australia photos of miranda kerr? yes! i know, she’s a former victoria’s secret model. but the ensembles they chose for her are not only gorgeous but flattering for mommies-to-be everywhere. the goddess silhouette in dreamy chiffon floats perfectly, draped silhouettes hide the sins we never want people to see and a little sparkle and shine is a marvelous distraction from the baby belly . 🙂
and in celebration of the ever so stylish mamas-to-be, i whipped up a champagne worthy ensemble for the holiday fetes this season. a little one-shoulder, a bit of leopard, a splash of red, some fierce shoes and some shimmer and shine.
