la vie en rose

“a rose is a rose is a rose”

i hope i am not the only one who has a bit of a struggle the first day after a holiday weekend. as i write this, i am fighting the urge to crawl back to bed and play hooky for one more day….yawn.
ah, but the office beckons and the show must go on. so, after this exceptionally tiring day of email sifting, to-do list making and pilates taking, i will be looking forward to unwinding with a long, luxurious bath. and for yours truly, an evening soak must include my favorite scent – the hopelessly romantic rose.
unabashedly feminine and ever exquisite, the scent of the rose has reemerged as a delicious fragrance for the modern day female.

the REN rose trio features the most luscious bath oil a girl could dream of. the heavenly aroma of kimberly lewis’s candle whisks you away to a grand english garden. the most soothing bath should always include the beach rose salts of maria evora. and the lingering sweet fragrance of rose petals, honey, violet and almond make drole de rose a perfume fit for a princess.
all in all, the most perfect way to end an almost endless day.

my friends, here’s to ending our day on a high note….

  1. Rose is my mother’s favorite fragrance, and whenever I find a good one, I always buy it. It’s such a soothing, feminine scent!
