Indian Summer – the last gasp of warmth and glorious sunny days – makes San Francisco a blissful place in October. And our glittering city by the bay makes the most of every day: the epic (and free) Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Fest, an awesome Fleet Week extravaganza, movie magic at Mill Valley’s Film Festival, friend and food-filled neighborhood street fairs, and rad bands at Treasure Island’s Music Fest.
With all this activity, a girl’s gotta be prepped and ready for anything. A trusty hat and cool shades to brave the heat, a packable blanket for the impromptu picnic, a playful polaroid cam for sweet keepsakes, and a mighty tote to carry it all.
My current rotation of tunes keeps the warm and sunny vibes going strong even when i’m plugging away at the office or passing out at the gym. Because that’s what our favorite songs do.

Here’s to an endless summer, friends.
