“it’s really hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes – that’s why you sometimes need really special shoes!” – carrie bradshaw

with autumn fully underway, i have been assessing my wardrobe to figure out where updates are desperately needed. with a career in the fashion world, i still have some marvelous coats, sweaters, tights and pants that have stood the tests of trend and time. and with a few clever picks from my favorite fashionably cheap brands – f21 and h&m – and some treasures found at my neighborhood vintage stores, my fall closet will be complete!
except for one thing…
the shoes.
oh shoes, i adore you, but you are always too much money. but you are worth every penny, because you are the cherry on top of every outfit!
one of the shoe collections i cannot stop dreaming about – but it isn’t available until spring! – is the always charming rebecca minkoff’s debut shoe line. her terrific incorporation of cool hardware {mini studs}, texture {perforated leather} and one of a kind urban-meets-feminine design makes each and every piece simply irresistible. i would literally sell my right arm to own those “vamp” pumps right now – they are perfect for any day in san francisco!
those wedges are so gorgeous!! i’m looking for wedge military boots and basically any and all of isabel marant’s fall collection – right after i stumble upon a big ol’ wallet filled to the brim and a rich person gives it to me.

I’ve always thought of San Francisco as a flat heel kind of place – maybe its all those hills, but if you can do it more power to you!
I really like that last pair!!
Those wedges are amazing indeed!
