welcome back, friends. i’ve missed you.
i hope everyone feels rejuvenated after the long holiday weekend. if you were like me, you ate some heavenly meals & sinful desserts, savored the last bits of summer sun, caught a film or two and relished in those quiet, weekend mornings before the rest of the day began.
i treasure those quiet mornings. since rob is a true creative {read = night owl} and i am the definition of an early bird, i have about two good hours of “me” time each morning.ย most times, i use these precious hours to catch up on my reads {fashion mags, blogs and book of the moment}, draft a blog post or two, get lost in the sweet jazz melodies ofย billie holiday and nina simone…and sip my earl grey tea.
but since this was a longer weekend than usual, i had a little extra time. and since i have been super crafty with all of my little diy bride projects, i decided to channel this creative energy towards a much-needed makeover for this beloved blog of mine.
and here we are, a few new colors, photographs and background patterns later. nothing revolutionary, but it feels refreshing and playful. and it makes me smile.
here’s to a season of change.
xo,
s
