Sundance (Film Fest) and Winter Storm Jonas blew through the weekend with a mighty cloak of white and a puffer-clad army set to catch snowflakes and build their very own Olafs. When the weather gods deal us an icy card, it’s easy for us to default to our usual commuter snow boots, hat, and the tired black, ankle length puffer coat that makes us feel, well, just that. Puffy. Why bother making an effort if the world looks like a snow globe outside our window?

Love wearing cozy boot socks. Visited home during Christmas in Wisconsin and was able to enjoy the snow a little but I’m glad I’m back in the south. Although, snow globe snow is very lovely!
Loved all your picks, they are perfect for a super comfy snow day
I’m like the last person to ask about winter essentials. I like in Upstate NY – we usually get a ton of snow. I wear boots and a peacoat, but hate hats, gloves and earmuffs. I only started wearing a scarf in the past 2 years.
Those are fun pics! The bonnets are too cute!
Amen to the puffer jacket! Living in Maine, LL Bean Boots are a must, and I also always have a big cowl on. I feel like if my neck is warm the rest of me is warm 🙂 Love the leggings!
Adorable snow gear! Though I prefer a blanket and slippers and being inside. LOL!
I love the picture on the snow. I hope we get a good snow here.
I will take one of everything. It all looks great.
we did not get ANY of the snow here in ohio and i was really bummed. i love looking at these selwctions though as you have some good picks for bundelling up!
I just bought some rain boots similar to the ones you pictured. We recently moved to some acreage, and the grass was really dead when we bought it since it was a repo. Of course, I’m just now realizing that means that between each snow storm when the ground decides to thaw, it’s a muddy mess. My kids think that’s fabulous– not so much for me!
These are all such great choices! I am getting tired of my same old same old winter gear! I need to look into some of these!
I love all your winter selections. You have picked some great stylish pieces for cold days.
Lots of snow in Wisconsin! I hardly ever leave home without a blanket scarf, Cuddl Dud leggings and a piping hot cup of coffee. Thanks for the list!
We have not had a proper snow day in England yet. Although when we do that grey beanie is going at the top of my list too cute!
Love your photos and the selection! I’d really love to go to a snowy place

Such fun pictures. Here in Kansas City, we’ve only had about two inches of snow all winter so we’re missing out..
These pictures are “snow” adorable! I love the pink hat.
Our essentials are warm boots, long johns and hot chocolate. Here’s hoping spring comes early this year 🙂
