true blue

“be grateful for the home you have, knowing that at this moment, all you have is all you need.”
-sarah ban breathnach

i’m finally and thankfully home. and there’s nothing like the feeling of sleeping in my own cozy bed after a week away from everything i love.
it’s good stuff.
and speaking of good stuff, this weekend my favorite guy and i will be stuffing ourselves silly at a holiday dessert party, sipping mulled wine and watching fellini’s famed “la strada” on our comfy couch and baking some sea salt caramels – just because. 🙂
and….rob and i are also officially counting down the days until the soulful, tender love story, “blue valentine” arrives to our neighborhood theatre. michelle williams + ryan gosling + love? what’s not to adore?
what about you, friends? what are you in the mood for this weekend? bubble baths and book reading? gingerbread house making? or a little glitter and holiday partying? i love to hear about your weekend adventures!
wishing each of you a marvelous, endless weekend!

That first photo makes me swoon. I love lazy sunday mornings in bed with Hubs talking about our random dreams. I also love a weekend of cocktails, great food, and good food adventures with Hubs.

I had a holiday open house, Christmas shopping and a spaghetti and meatball dinner with my mom at a favorite restaurant. So nice, and so pre-holiday!

A holiday dessert party sounds perfect! I’m going to see the Boston Pops holiday concert tonight, I go every year with my childhood friends and our moms. It’s one of my favorite traditions. 🙂
