weekend bliss + lovely links

“life must be lived as play.”

hello friday, i’m thrilled that you’re here!
this weekend, for the first time in a very long while, i’m planning on celebrating the art of doing nothing. immersing myself in the quiet hours with my favorite books {finally cracked open the girl with the dragon tattoo}, fashion + decor mags {the entire newsstand}, classic films {rob & i have been having a fellini and bergman film fest!} a steaming pot of tea and my favorite guy and corgi pup. i’ll add some baking here, a bit of farmer’s market shopping there and a little pilates in between.

life doesn’t get any better than this. 🙂

in the meantime, here are a few bits that i stumbled upon this week that i adore and think you might too 🙂
silver lining’s lovely links of the week!

live the left bank life

the sweetest party favor i’ve ever seen

the heavenly dessert i will be eating…on the couch…all weekend.

the heavenly brunch i will be eating in the city of angels in a few weeks!

bobby who? every little step – with a twist 😉

what adventures do you have in store this weekend, friends? i can’t wait to hear!

here’s to a glorious, {almost} endless weekend!

friends, your sweet thoughts and inspiring comments are the bright spot of my day. please make the jump, hang out and share what’s on your mind. 🙂

Those hot chocolate favors are adorable! I’m going to go make some cocoa right now : ) This weekend is homecoming and I’m photographing the game for my school’s news website and then I’m meeting prospective students for my major! I hope you have a lovely, relaxing weekend..I recommend adding some Cary Grant films to that film fest!
